“Dear Rev. Scott Daniel Ryll,
Our Brother in Christ,
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, on the celebration of his nativity, we invite You, and appreciate your sending to Budapest during the next summer, in August 2011. We hope, that with your service in our Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Budapest-Fasor the english speaking community can grow in faith and number. Our „Fasor” community is the first evangelical- lutheran congregation in the hungarian capital city, Budapest, which has started english speaking worship services on a regular basis, since the 4th Sunday of Advent, 2008. Our aim was from the very beginning to build community from the international, interracial people of our parish members, and to outreach for the local english speaking community.
After two years of rich experience we have a vision, that with an intensified mission work, based on the sending of Jesus Christ, according to our evangelical-lutheran heritage we should continue the sharing of the good news in our multicultural and multidenominational context through the service of the Word and Sacraments. In this vision your arrival would give us a new level of commitment.
We confirm our previous statement, that You have a place to come and a job to do…
…Last but not least we keep You in our prayers with your family and your present service.
Yours in Christ:
György Aradi Senior Pastor
Dr. Miklós Gálos Lay President
